Bishop Mule Days Celebration is looking for a highly energetic,
motivated person to join our team as Executive Director
Background:
Every Memorial Day weekend since 1969, the town of Bishop, nestled on the eastern slope of the Sierra Nevada mountains, comes alive with the annual presentation of Mule Days. The outfitters and packers of the region wanted an event to start off the packing season and the businessmen wanted to draw vacationers to the Owens Valley. What began as an informal gathering and a test of skills, has grown into a fun filled, world class event. Come join the team that puts on this annual event.
Summary and Duties:
The Executive Director reports to the Board of Directors and the Mule Days President. The Executive Director supervises all staff and is responsible for managing the day to day operations of the Mule Days office and coordinating and planning the annual Mule Days event at the direction of the Executive Board. The duties of the Executive Director include, but are not limited to:
